Transforming Our Community One Life At A Time

Here at Orthodox Zion Primitive Baptist we want to be a culturally relevant church that fulfills the Great Commission by reaching out to the unchurched communities in the Palm Beaches. We envision our church as a Transformation Station where all are continually transformed into fully functioning followers of Christ.

we need your books

Do you have books that others may want to read, then we need you! We are recipients of one of the county book boxes that as we speak is placed outside for others to be able to just take a book to read.  The box will hold about 25 books at a time. We’re looking for children’s books, dramas, black history books, fiction, biographies, autobiographies, etc. So, if you have books that you’d like to donate, please contact Phyllis. If we all take a month, we can keep the book box stocked for years to come.
WHO WANTS TO BRING BOOKS THIS MONTH?

New members class & orientation

For those that have joined Orthodox since February, or are considering membership and have not been through Orientation/Information and New Members Class, please come prepared to join us Sunday, June 23, 2024, immediately following service. We will have classes for both adults and children and be serving lunch during the classes.

Also, if you have not received the book 7 Basics of Belonging: The Meaning of Church Membership, please see Phyllis for your copy.

Bible Challenge 2024

Beginning Monday, January 1, 2024, we've got another opportunity to ensure that God's word is in our hearts by participating in the Bible Reading Challenge 2024.

I am challenging everyone to read through the Bible in one year and am recommending the One-Year Bible for Men or the One-Year Bible for Women by Tyndale.

There is also a new group starting on Wednesday, January 3rd at 6:15 at the church. It is called the Bible Study Group.

It's Time to Prepare for 2024...

  1. If we don't celebrate your birthday or anniversary, it could be because we don't have updated information for you or your family members.
  2. If you've moved, changed your phone number, cell phone number, or address, we'd like to know.
  3. If you've never given us a picture of yourself, your deacon, pastor, of the administrative staff probably have no idea how to put a face to your name, so we need your picture.
